Infant
Infant
Our infant classroom is a beautifully prepared, home-like, environment designed for the changing developmental needs of infants between 6 weeks and 18 months of age.
Our infant environment is a rich blend of pleasing aesthetics, tactile objects, sounds both soothing and stimulating, and a pervading culture of mutual respect supported by skilled caregivers who listen actively and communicate openly with parents. The community is led by compassionate, dedicated educators with specialized training in an infant-focused curriculum. The curriculum is designed to address the developmental milestones of babies through thoughtfully organized activities integrated into their daily routines. Our loving teachers speak softly to children, follow the child’s pace, and encourage independence in countless ways. With our smaller teacher-to-infant ratios, we ensure each child receives ample individualized care and attention.
*Breastfeeding moms are welcome to come in to nurse their babies during the day.

Toddler
Toddler
Maria Montessori identified three key characteristic of toddlers that profoundly influenced her toddler educational curriculum:
- A sensitivity to order
- A significantly increased capacity to absorb language
- An eagerness to become independent
Toddlers are often apprehensive about leaving parents or caregivers and our program will help the child make a gentle transition from the family setting into our classroom community.
Primary
Primary
Dr. Maria Montessori called the period between birth and age 6 the first plane of development. She characterized children of this age as having an “absorbent mind,” the ability to literally absorb, like a sponge, all kinds of information about their environment and culture.
The Primary Community is a multi-aged preschool and kindergarten program. The classroom is divided into distinct spaces dedicated to the domains of Language Arts, Math, Science, Practical Life, Sensorial exploration, and Geography and Culture. Each space is equipped with shelves of diverse engaging materials for students to interact with and explore.
The students enjoy autonomy during work cycles, allowing them to select tasks and dedicate ample time to perfecting associated skills. However, it’s essential to recognize that this freedom operates within well-defined boundaries. Teachers thoughtfully select and present materials, providing both individual and group instruction to support students in their endeavors. Children are gradually introduced to increasingly challenging activities across all domains. Majority of the lessons are given one-on-one, enabling each child to advance at their own pace. As a result, they develop enhanced concentration abilities, self-assurance, and a genuine eagerness for learning.
